Do you ever wonder where the water comes from when you turn on the tap to brush your teeth? In Reno and Sparks, our main water source is Lake Tahoe which provides us with 85% of our drinking water. Water from Lake Tahoe flows out of the lake, into the Truckee River and down to Reno. When it gets to Reno, the water is cleaned and purified and then piped to your home.
